Bourses, subventions et prix

The project develops the mathematical theory of reaction-diffusion  equations, and new modelling in ecology, medicine, economics and social sciences. A full description of the project, as well as information about its activities, is available on the web page:

We welcome applications from candidates having a background either in modelling or in nonlinear PDEs.    The project is hosted by the EHESS, within the Centre d'Analyse et de Mathématiques Sociales in Paris, France, a CNRS – EHESS research laboratory. The PhD fellows will thus have an opportunity to acquire a background in, or to develop interactions with social sciences. The associates will be encouraged to interact with the members of the project team, and to visit the various centres of the network.

Eligibility criteria

Those fellowships are open, on a competitive basis, to French and foreign students and awarded on the basis of the quality of the academic records.   The ReaDi project applies an equal opportunity policy in recruitment.

Work conditions

The PhD fellow will receive a gross salary of roughly € 1684,93 per month (at the present date) and will benefit from health insurance and social coverage.  
Each fellow will participate to the scientific activities of the project (seminars, workshops), and will be welcome to attend the CAMS seminars. He/she will have the opportunity to travel within the ReaDi network. PhD fellows are also encouraged to attend other relevant seminars and scientific activities in Paris. Funding will also be available to participate to scientific events related to the topic of research.  
Office space will be made available to PhD fellows in the ReaDi offices, with computers and all facilities.

2. A detailed curriculum vitae,

3. An academic record will all marks from L to M,

4. Names, affiliations and contact details of two or three persons who will write
reference letters.
