Séances spéciales de séminaire

Over the past generation the master narrative of modern Jewish history has undergone upheaval. Jewish modernity is no longer regarded as the neat story of the synergy of secularization, Enlightenment, religious reform and emancipation. New archival discoveries, new methodologies and new ways of conceptualizing have changed many fundamental views of key parts of modern Jewish history. As new pieces of "history" have been discovered or revised, it has become necessary to re-cast "HISTORY", the overall assessment of the modern Jewish experience.
