Chinese Linguistics in Budapest / 漢語語言學在布達佩斯
This volume is the first in a new series, "Chinese Linguistics in Europe" or "CLE", a joint initiative by the European Association of Chinese Linguistics (EACL) and the Centre de Recherches sur l'Asie Orientale (CRLAO) in Paris.
It contains a refereed selection of the papers that were presented at the 4th bi-annual meeting of the EACL which was held at the Research Institute for Linguistics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Department of East Asian Studies of Eötvös Lorand University in Budapest, 20-22 January 2006.
The papers in this volume cover a broad array of subjects and approaches in Chinese linguistics, from wh-words in Old Chinese to the transliteration of Chinese names in Greek and from psycholinguistics to optimality phonology.
